Dr. Thomas M. Troutman, O.D., brings 30 years of optometric experience, practicing since his 1995 graduation from the Illinois College of Optometry. After beginning his college studies in pre-dental, Dr. Troutman shifted to optometry, inspired by friends who enjoyed the profession. Since 1997, he has been serving patients at JCPenney Optical, providing comprehensive eye exams, accurate prescriptions, and contact lens fittings. Dr. Troutman is dedicated to caring for a diverse patient base and accepts most major medical insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. In 2021, he was honored as a finalist for the US Vision Doctor of the Year award. Outside the clinic, Dr. Troutman enjoys playing in an adult baseball league, attending Pittsburgh Pirates Fantasy Camps, traveling, trivia, and karaoke.
